Liam Malik Kingbird (Waa-saa Giizhik-Goons – Little Shiny Day), 8 days old, died on Thursday, March 10, 2016 at the University of Minnesota Children's Hospital in Minneapolis, MN.

Traditional Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Boys and Girls Club in Ponemah, MN with Spiritual Leader Steve Jackson. A wake will begin at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 and continue until the time of services. Interment will be the Family Burial Grounds in Ponemah, MN under the direction of the Cease Family Funeral Home in Bemidji.

He was born March 2, 2016 in Minneapolis,MN the son of Damario Rhen and Jerian Kingbird.

He is survived by his mother Jerian Kingbird of Warroad; brother Ronald Pepworth, Jr. of Warroad; sister Macie Pepworth of Warroad; grandparents Louis Kingbird, Jr. and Roberta Kingbird of Warroad; grandparents Mitch and Karol Rhen of Badger; great grandmothers Elizabeth Kingbird of Ponemah and Judy French of Ponemah; aunts Tristyn Stillday of Ponemah, Maria Stillday of Ponemah and Sheanna French of Warroad; uncles Terrance French of Ponemah, Andrew French of Warroad, Christopher French of Bemidji, Brian French of Fergus Falls and Dustin Stillday of Grand Forks and many cousins, aunts and uncles and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his dad Damario Devon Guy Rhen; great grandfathers Louis Kingbird, Sr. and Robert French, Sr. and uncle Lavan Stillday.

Honorary Casket bearers will be his family. Active Casket bearers will be his uncles Andrew French, Christopher French, Brian French and Terrance French.
