Twin Cities medical supplier's 'trusted employee' skimmed $1M-plus

A longtime “trusted employee” for a Twin Cities medical supplier stole more than $1 million from the company over several years, according to charges.

Stephanie R. Davis, 37, of Maple Grove, was charged in Hennepin County District Court with 10 counts of theft by swindle, County Attorney Mike Freeman announced last week.

Once executives with Reliable Medical Supply in Brooklyn Park notified Davis that she was fired, she and her husband started removing snowmobiles, cars, boats and other items from their home, according to prosecutors.
