Pre-arranged outage scheduled

Bemidji, MN. (March 8, 2016) On Thursday, March 10, Minnkota Power Cooperative will conduct a prearranged outage at the Helga substation, as they do required maintenance. The outage will affect approximately 530 Beltrami Electric members.

Beginning at 3:00 a.m. and lasting approximately one and a half hours, the outage will affect members in the following areas:

Eastern part of Lake Hattie Township, Northwest part of Schoolcraft Township, Southeast part of Rockwood Township, West half of Helga Township, West half of Guthrie Township and the Northwest part of Hendrickson Township.

Minnkota Power crews will then move to the Laporte substation to perform required maintenance, starting at approximately 5:00 a.m. and lasting approximately one and a half hours. This outage will affect approximately 1230 Beltrami Electric members. This outage will affect members in the following areas:

City of Laporte, North and East parts of Hendrickson Township, Southeast part of Guthrie Township, most of Lakeport Township, Southern and Central parts of Hart Lake Township, Northeast part of Steamboat River Township, Northwest corner of Shingobee-North and a small west portion of Wilkinson Township.

Beltrami Electric will be sending out an automated call to members affected by these two outages that have provided us a valid contact phone number for their account.
