BEMIDJI -- A man was taken into custody late Tuesday evening after law enforcement issued a shelter in place alert for residents just west of Bemidji because of an "ongoing incident" on Archery Road.
The situation ended at about 10 p.m., according to a county official.
“The subject of our distressed person call is in custody, no injuries to any persons involved, roads are being opened,” 911 Communications Supervisor/Emergency Communications Director Beryl Wernberg told the Pioneer in an email.
