Authorities seeking pickup that hit man along road in Mahnomen County

WAUBUN, Minn. -- Authorities are searching for a vehicle that struck a man who had left his car after it slid off of a road and into a ditch in Mahnomen County on Sunday.

According to Minnesota State Patrol, Mohamed Paya, 28, Fargo, was driving a 1994 Cadillac DeVille eastbound on Minnesota Highway 113, just east of Waubun about 6:30 p.m. when the vehicle hit an icy patch and slid into the northbound ditch.
