Thierry Leroux didn’t stand a chance.
As he walked into a house to respond to a call about a domestic dispute Saturday night, the young officer from Amos was shot and killed on the spot.
He had been on the job six months with the local police force in Lac Simon, an aboriginal community southeast of Val d’Or.
