USDA accepting applications for stewardship program

BEMIDJI -- The United States Department of Agriculture is accepting applications from landowners to take part in the Conservation Stewardship Program.

“CSP is an opportunity for farmers and forest landowners to be rewarded for being good conservation stewards of their land here in Beltrami County,” said district conservationist Larry Voltz of USDA’s Natural Resources Conservation Service in Bemidji in a release. “Our focus with this program is to introduce landowners to new and innovative conservation practices that can be incorporated into their existing land management systems.”
