Native Americans, activists protest group put together to find solutions in Whiteclay


LINCOLN, Neb. —Native Americans and other activists are calling a group set up by Gov. Pete Ricketts to look into solving the problems at Whiteclay a "slap in the face."

They said of the 10 members, only one is Indian and one is female.

Ariana's adoptive mom calls her the $3 million baby. In four years, she's had 22 surgeries and nearly died 14 times. She was born with severe fetal alcohol syndrome.
