Wallace Coffey resigns as chair of Comanche Nation after 25 years


Wallace Coffey stepped down as chairman of the Comanche Nation on Friday after leading the Oklahoma tribe for a total of 25 years.

Coffey served six terms from 1992 to 2000, 2000 to 2006 and 2012 to the present.

"I am grateful to have had the opportunity to serve our people all these years," Coffey said in a press release.
