NORTHWEST MINNESOTA FOUNDATION OFFERS ENGAGING NONPROFIT VOICES WORKSHOP

BEMIDJI, MN-February 3, 2016 -- The Northwest Minnesota Foundation (NMF) is delivering Engaging Nonprofit Voices, a course designed to help your nonprofit advocate its mission. The workshop will explore the nonprofit sector's relationship to government and policymakers, and how to craft strategic advocacy efforts.

Nonprofit staff and board members are welcome to participate in this conversation. In addition to legal information, learn the tips and tactics that will help build a culture of nonprofit advocacy and engagement.

Trainer Susie Brown is the public policy director for the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits, a role she has held since 2010. Previously, Brown served as executive director of Child Care WORKS, as a public policy director for the Family Partnership, and in several roles with Planned Parenthood in Connecticut and Vermont.
