Red Lake has no trouble with Walker-Hackensack-Akley in 69-31 win - Set 2 - P3

Jeremy Martin hits the 1000 career point mark

RED LAKE, MN - The Red Lake Warriors hosted the Walker-Hackensack-Akley Wolves on Tuesday, January 26, 2016, and came off to a quick start with the lead that they would never give up. Red Lake led 38-13 at the half.

Senior Jeremy Martin needed 27 points to hit the 1000 career point mark, and in the first half netted a quick 12 points. However, two fouls put him on the bench until the second half.

Martin hit a fast-break layup in the second half that put him at 1001 points for his career.

The Warriors, leading by over 30 points, pulled all its starters at about the 9 minutes remaining mark, going on to win 69-31.

Jeremy Martin led Red Lake with 28 points, WIlly Morrison and Rob McClain each had 9, Kendall Whitefeather added 6, Rob Beaulieu III hit for 4 and Jamie Cook hit a 3-pointer.

Logan Gross and Bryan Sea each had 7 for the Wolves.

Red Lake travels to Minneapolis on Friday, January 29th to take on Minnesota Transitions Charter School, then will play again on Saturday against Maranatha Christian Academy, the team that knocked them off in last year's state tournament action at William's Arena, in the Super 60 Showcase at Hopkins High School in Minneapolis.
