Bemidji woman arrested for vehicle theft; 2nd stolen vehicle tied to UND hit-and-run

A 26-year-old Bemidji woman was arrested after a report of a vehicle theft near Euclid, Minn.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office and Minnesota State Patrol responded to a report of a vehicle theft just after 7 p.m. Wednesday at the O’Meara Piling Station. A resident followed the suspect while speaking to a dispatcher until officers arrived and arrested the unidentified woman south of County Road 21 and Highway 75, according to a news release.
