Jolaine Emmanuelle Bigbear, age 35, of Onigum, MN was called home on January 19, 2016. Jolaine was born on September 2, 1980 in Minneapolis, MN to Lorraine Butcher and Joe Bigbear. She grew up in Minneapolis and later in life made the Leech Lake Reservation her home. Jolaine loved to cook and could make a meal out of anything. Jolaine was very close to all of her nieces and nephews and was a kind hearted, giving woman.

Jolaine was preceded in death by her parents; grandmother, Gladys; grandfather William; and her sister, Miranda.

She is survived by her children: Carol, Elias, Aiyana, Aiyasha, Nena and Nora Dawn; her fiancé, Dennis Littlewolf; nieces: Delores, Leticia, Alexandra, Mikayla, Ava and Bria; newpews: Luiz, Rosendo, Anthony and Jayvon; as well as other relatives and many special friends.

Jolaine's wake will begin at 6:00 P.M. on Friday, January 22, 2016 at the Community Center in Onigum. Final review will begin at 10:00 A.M. with the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Mark Olson officiating. Casketbearers will be: Nathan Butcher, Tony Butcher, Jeremy Butcher, Shaun Butcher, Leon Butcher and Luiz DelaRosa. Honorary casketbearers will be Roger Butcher, Corey Butcher, David Whitebird, Sarah Whitebird, Emma Baker and Crystal Hunt. Interment will be at St. John's Episcopal Cemetery in Onigum. Arrangements provided by Dennis Funeral Home of Walker, MN. (
