Darryl was born and lived his whole life in Long Prairie, Minnesota. As a junior in high school he started working for Lake Country CNC and spent the next 17 years there as Machinist. When Darryl wasn't working he enjoyed watching movies and listening to his volbeat music. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting, netting and camping. Darryl liked bonfires and cooking, he especially liked grilling all types of foods and making wild rice hot dishes. Darryl enjoyed anything and everything that had to do with his Native American culture. He has left us too soon!

Darryl is reunited with his father; Darryl Kingbird Sr., paternal grandparents; John and Agnes Kingbird, maternal grandma; Barbara Mikel, uncles; Stewart Kingbird, Richard "Bibsy" Kingbird and Robert Morgan.
