All Night Wake Beginning at 3

Raymond C. Gurneau, age 76, of St. Paul, MN journeyed to the Spirit World on January 17, 2016 in Minneapolis.

He was born in Red Lake, MN on August 2, 1939 the son of Felix Gurneau and Margaret Taylor.

Raymond enjoyed going to the casino, playing bingo and visiting with friends and family. He loved to laugh and joke around and enjoyed dancing at various pow wows as a traditional dancer. His hobbies included painting, drawing, ceramics, playing cards and he was an avid Vikings football fan.

He is survived by a son Raymond Gurneau Jr.; four grandchildren; nieces Marilyn Gurneau and Karen Gurneau; a nephew Patrick Gurneau; other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Raymond Gurneau will be held on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at 5:00 PM at the Elders Lodge, 1500 Magnolia Street, St. Paul, MN. Barb Fairbanks will officiate.

An all-night wake will be held beginning at 3:00 PM on Thursday, January 21, 2016 and continues until 10:00 AM on Friday, January 22, 2016 at the Elders Lodge.

Honorary Casket Bearers will be Raymond Gurneau Jr., Marilyn Gurneau and Pat Gurneau.

Casket Bearers will be Nathan Gurneau, Robert Jones, James Cross, Bill Beaulieu and James Wood.

Chilson Funeral Home, Winsted, MN assisted the family with arrangements.
