Red ribbons hung on Kamloops bridges

You may notice red ribbons hanging from the bridges in Kamloops. Each ribbon is meant to represent a missing or murdered indigenous woman in B.C. There are 149 of them. Nikki Fraser tied the first ribbon. It's in memory of her cousin, Samantha Paul, whose remains were found near White Lake in the spring of 2014. Nikki was in the studio along with Francyne Joe. She is vice-president of the BC Native Women's Association.
