BSU Alumni Relative Scholarship deadline is Feb. 1

Bemidji, Minn. – Application information for the 2016 Bemidji State University Alumni Relative Scholarship is now included in the BSU Scholarship Biography Application. The BSU Alumni and Foundation and Admissions worked together to simplify the application process. Students MUST have their 8-digit Tech ID# to complete the scholarship application. (Tech ID's are included in all email communication from BSU Admissions).

Incoming first-year, returning, and transfer students are eligible to apply for the $1,000 annual awards ($500 issued/semester). In addition to biographical information and essays, applicants must include information about a relative who is an alumnus. The alumnus must make or have made a contribution of $50 or more to BSU through the Alumni and Foundation during the last 12 months. Applications must be submitted by February 1 to be considered for the Alumni Relative Scholarship. Previous recipients must re-apply each year.

Applicants can verify their relative's status by contacting the Alumni Office at 218-755-3989 or alumni@bemidjistate.edu. Applicants should know the full name of the alumnus with correct spelling.
