Regina mom suing over daughter's laundry chute death

The mother of a Regina woman who plunged to her death down a hotel laundry chute last year is suing the hotel for negligence.

Nadine Machiskinic, 29, died on Jan. 10, 2015, after falling 10 storeys down the chute at the Delta Regina Hotel.

The statement of claim, filed with the Court of Queen's Bench in Regina, accuses the Delta Hotel and the company that owns it — Luxury Hotels International of Canada — of not using reasonable care to prevent injury.
