Minnesotans on medical assistance can get free help to stop smoking

ST. PAUL -- Minnesotans who receive government-funded medical care can get free tobacco treatment beginning next month.

Those on Medical Assistance, Minnesota's version of Medicaid, and MinnesotaCare subsidized insurance are eligible for treatment under changes legislators made earlier this year.
