Bemidji VA clinic may expand

BEMIDJI—The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is setting in motion a change that will expand Bemidji's community based outpatient clinic in the next few years.

According to David Busching, contract liaison for the agency's Fargo office, clinics such as Bemidji's are leased by the department for a maximum of 10 years, which requires re-competition on the open market when they expire. The lease for Bemidji will soon be ending and a new lease is now required.
