Stillaguamish tap first tribal brewery

Frank Ellis has wild eyes and a full beard. Last Tuesday, he also wore a beanie and a flannel. His voice is thick and merry. He looks like he was born beneath a cedar in the Pacific Northwest. He also looks like a brewer. Which he is.

Ellis brews for Angel’s Tap House Brewery inside Angel of the Winds Casino Hotel.

The tap house opened in November and is the first Washington state brewery owned and operated by a tribe.
