CROOKSTON, Minn. -- Two East Grand Forks, Minn., women were sentenced Monday in Polk County District Court for providing a fentanyl patch that caused the overdose death of a woman in 2014.
Shilo Chasity Delorme, 33, received more than 11 years in prison while Haley Lynne-Marie Suedel, 26, was sentenced to more than eight years for the death of Jessika Erickson of Grand Forks, N.D.
The two women had earlier pleaded guilty to third-degree murder in August. A third woman, Jenny Marie Bercier, 40, also of East Grand Forks, pleaded guilty to the same charge earlier this month and is scheduled to be sentenced Feb. 22.
