The R2AC Individual Artist Grant Program, made available with funding from the McKnight Foundation, provides financial assistance to artists who show serious commitment to creative growth and artistic advancement. Up to $2,000 is available for costs associated with the following:

The exhibition, performance, or production of a specific creative work

Mentoring with a more experienced artist

Participation in not-for-credit arts classes, workshops, or conferences

Opportunities related to ones growth as an artist

Artists must be 18 years and older and reside in the five-county Region 2 area at least six months out of the calendar year to be eligible to apply for this grant. The five-county Region 2 area includes Beltrami, Clearwater, Hubbard, Lake of the Woods and Mahnomen counties.
