Delores "Jeanie" Auginash, 53, of Redby passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at the Red Lake IHS Hospital, in Red Lake. She was born in Red Lake, Minnesota on April 1st, 1962 to Richard and Lucille (Jourdain) Auginash.

Jeanie liked to have fun! She loved hanging out with her cousins Betty and Marilyn. Together they enjoyed going to the casino and playing bingo. Jeanie was always watching American Idol and the Food Channel. She really loved to cook and eat her Mexican food. In her spare time she liked drawing and crocheting and was quite good at it. Jeanie was the kind of gal who got along with everyone but also didn't hesitate to stand up for her sisters if she needed to. She had one special love in her life, her granddaughter Maria. Jeanie was an all-around fun loving gal that is going to be missed.

Those who have passed on before her are her father; Richard, brother; Russell Nate Jourdain, grandmother; Jeanette Auginash, niece; Trudi Schoenborn several aunts, uncles and other relatives.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her mother; Lucille Auginash of Redby, daughter; Gerrilyn Auginash of Minneapolis, special sons; Terry Jourdain of Red Lake and Jeffery Barrett of Redby, brothers; Gary Auginash Sr. of Redby and Jerry Auginash of Minneapolis, sisters; Beverly Schoenborn of Redby, Debbie (Chuck) Barrett of Red Lake, Arlene (Clyde Graves) Auginash, Ann (Loren Stillday) Auginash and Ruth Auginash all of Redby, one granddaughter; Maria and many other close family and friends.

A wake for Jeanie will begin at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 19th at the Redby Community Center and continue until her 1:00 p.m., service on Redby Community Church on Monday, December 21st. Pastor Tom Pollock will officiate. Pallbearers for Jeanie will be Ronald Schoenborn, Terry Jourdain, Jeff Barrett, Gary Auginash Jr., Richard Cook, Garrett Gibbs and Stephan Howard. Alternates will be Jason Jones, Kevin Cook and Jonathan Auginash. Her honorary pallbearers are Betty Jones, Marilyn Jones, Jolene Kingbird, Mavis Strong, Marida Seki, Alana Brown, Roxanne Graves, Ethel Branchaud, Shelly Schoenborn, Audrey Jourdain, Mary Jones, Whitney Jourdain, Karyn Jones and Karen McNeal. Interment will be in the Redby Community Cemetery at Redby following her Monday Service.
