Cheryl Faye LaRose, age 58, of Cass Lake, MN, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Wednesday, December 16, 2015. She was born November 22, 1956 in Red Lake, Minnesota to Mary Neadeau.

Cheryl was a very family oriented woman who absolutely adored being around her grandchildren. She was recently blessed with a new great granddaughter. She was an avid naturist. She loved to hunt, net and pick berries. In her spare time, Cheryl enjoyed doing many crafts and beading. She liked to ride her bike and rode all summer long. Cheryl loved to visit with her friends and family whenever she could. Cheryl grew up and went to school on the south side of Minneapolis but also made time to go home to Red Lake. She worked many jobs in the Cass Lake area, her last being at the deli at Teal’s. She loved her husband and would spoil him. They were inseparable! She was very loved by many.

The family that Cheryl meets again are her mother; Mary and her brother Lyle.

Family that she leaves behind to cherish her memories are her beloved husband of 26 years, Franklin “Doc” LaRose, sons; Jamie Aubid, Michael (Charlotte) Aubid, Daryl John Aubid and Rueben Aubid, daughters; Kathy (Larry “Red”) Aubid, Juanita (Clayton) Oothoudt and Nina Mitchell, many brothers and sisters, 34 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren and her beloved friends Ila, Lori “Queenie” and Ann.

A wake for Cheryl will begin at 6:00 p.m., Saturday, December 19, 2015 and will continue until the 11:00 a.m. service on Sunday, December 20, all at the Facility Center in Cass Lake. Spiritual advisor will be Ron Winters. Her pallbearers will be Clayton Oothoudt, Gerald Butcher, Douglas Butcher, Misk Cloud, Winter Cloud and Jo Oothoudt. Her honorary pallbearers are Dusty Martin, Corey Oothoudt, Clayton Oothoudt III, and John Wilke. Interment will be held in the LaRose Family Burial Grounds in Cass Lake following the service.
