ST. PAUL -- The Minnesota jobless rate dropped two tenths of a percent last month to 3.5 percent -- the lowest in almost 15 years.
“The state unemployment rate is now at its lowest level since March 2001,” said Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development Commissioner Katie Clark Sieben. “While the labor market is tightening, healthy job growth in November and recent wage gains are positive signs of an expanding economy.”
Minnesota employers added 7,200 jobs in November, according to seasonally adjusted figures released Thursday by DEED.
