White Earth man sentenced for child pornography
DULUTH—A White Earth man was sentenced Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Duluth to 25 years in prison for making pornographic images and videos of a 9-year-old child.
Corey Victor Bevins, 39, was convicted on one count each of production, receipt and possession of child pornography, according to a release from the U.S. Attorney's Office. Bevins will be on supervised release for 15 years after completion of his prison sentence.
"Bevins downloaded child pornography to help him groom a 9-year-old victim so that he could exploit that child," said Assistant U.S. Attorney Deidre Aanstad in the release. "He then produced child pornography of that same victim who he repeatedly sexually abused. The sentence imposed by the court is both fair and just."
