Tribe plans to retrieve remains of children from school

RIVERTON — The Northern Arapaho Tribal Historic Preservation Office is planning to return the remains of deceased tribal members who attended a boarding school in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, in the 1800s to Wyoming.

The children were sent to boarding school in hopes of them returning to the tribe, but some died and were buried there.
