BEMIDJI -- A South Dakota woman was taken to the hospital after a rollover Tuesday morning on U.S. Highway 2 in Bemidji.

Karen Taylor, 22, Sisseston, was taken to Sanford Bemidji Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries after her car slid of the U.S. Highway 2 overpass of Highway 197 and rolled in the ditch, according to a State Patrol incident report.

She was listed in good condition as of late morning according to a Sanford Bemidji Medical Center spokesperson.

Road conditions were listed as icy when the report was filed at 9:22 a.m., the Patrol said, and Taylor was traveling west on U.S. Highway 2 when her 2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue went off the road. Taylor was wearing a seat belt.

According to the Minnesota Department of Transportation, both U.S. Highway 2 and state Highway 89 north to Red Lake were listed as partially covered and icy. A winter storm is expected to move into the area overnight with 2 to 4 inches of new snow expected into Wednesday.
