UPDATE: New details in murder of Rose Downwind: Pushed down the stairs

Bemidji, Minn. (Valley News Live) Marchello Cimmarusti and Brandon Rossbach made their initial court appearances in Beltrami District Court, in connection with the death of Rose Downwind.

According to court documents, Cimmarusti admitted to police that his girlfriend, Rose Downwind died, after he pushed her down the stairs of his home during an argument.

Cimmarusti also says that Brandon Rossbach was with him as Downwind's body was taken to a remote location near Bemidji, where it was burned and buried.

Marchello Cimmarusti has been formally charged with "2nd Degree Murder".

Brandon Rossbach has been charged with "Accomplice after the Fact, Aiding an Offender".

Both men remain in jail. A third man, Christopher Davis is also named in court records as helping to move Downwind's body. He has also just been charged with "Accomplice after the Fact, Aiding an Offender".
