Cass Lake-Bena 38 at Red Lake (DH) 87
Despite going 11 for 45 at the free throw line the Lady Warriors of Red Lake rolled to the 87-38 win over Cass Lake-Bena Friday night in Red Lake.
The two teams combined to go 17 for 70 at the line, but the Warriros found several other different ways to score points.
Grace White led Red Lake with 26 points and 14 rebounds as the Warriors improve to 2-0 on the season.
Alexis Desjarlait hit 4 three pointers as the Warriors used a 29-2 run to pull away from the Panthers.
Sunshyne Kingbird led Cass Lake-Bena with 10 points and 5 rebounds as they drop to 0-2 on the year.
The first half took a while to play as there were a combined 37 fouls called on the two teams.
Turnovers didn't help for the Panthers as they turned the ball over 41 times against an aggressive Red Lake defense.
Red Lake will return to action on Tuesday, December 8th when they travel to Baudette to face Lake of the Woods.
The Panthers are off until Thursday, December 10th when they host the Nevis Tigers in Cass Lake.
