BEMIDJI, Minn. (Dec. 1, 2015) - Beltrami Electric will once again serve as a collection point for donations of new or homemade mittens, gloves, hats or scarves to area Head Start programs throughout the cooperative's service area.
Through generous donations to the mitten tree program, hundreds of young people stay warm throughout the winter. Last year, the cooperative distributed more than 700 items to children enrolled in area Head Start / ECFE programs. If you would like to help keep children warm this winter, Beltrami Electric will be accepting donations for the mitten tree through Thursday, Dec. 10. The items will be delivered in time for the holiday season.
Beltrami Electric is located at 4111 Technology Drive, N.W. and items can be dropped off Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
