Margaret Marie (Muggsy) LaRose, 73, of Richfield, MN, formerly of Cass Lake, MN began her journey home on Thursday, December 3, 2015 in Richfield. Muggsy was born October 25, 1942 in Cass Lake, MN to parents, Frances and Clifford Jones, Sr. She lived in Cass Lake until she was 17 years old, when she moved to Minneapolis to raise her family with her husband, Harold LaRose, Sr. After college she worked at Children's Hospital for over three decades before retiring to spend more time with her family. She enjoyed trips to the casino, country music, and yelling "Bingo!" Her love in life was her family, especially her grandchildren. They were her pride and joy. Muggsy is survived by children, Frances Jones, Grady LaRose, Kathleen LaRose, Harold LaRose, Jr., and Joseph LaRose; sister, Thelma Goodwin; numerous grandchildren and loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; sisters, Bonita Jones and Karen Tuttle; brothers, Clifford Jones, Jr. and Charles Jones; grandson, Raymond LaRose; uncles and aunts. A visitation will be held at 7:00 PM, Sunday, December 6, 2015 at Gichitwaa Kateri Church at 3045 Park Avenue in Minneapolis, MN. Beginning at 6:00 PM, Monday, December 7, 2015, a wake will be held at the Veteran's Memorial Building in Cass Lake, MN until the time of services. The funeral service will be at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, December 8, 2015, also at the Veteran's Memorial Building.
