North Dakota revenue drops for energy production on federal lands

WILLISTON, N.D. – North Dakota received more than $47 million from energy production on federal lands in 2015, a drop from recent years attributed to the lower price of oil.

The Department of Interior's Office of Natural Resources Revenue says it disbursed $47,164,777 to North Dakota in the fiscal year that ended on Sept. 30.
