One of two suspects accused in the brutal attack against a First Nations teen in Winnipeg last year has pleaded guilty.
Justin Hudson, 21, was charged with attempted murder after a 16-year-old girl was assaulted twice Nov. 7, 2014, and left for dead by the Assiniboine River. A 17-year-old, whose identity is protected by law, was also accused in the case.
On Monday, Crown attorney Debbie Buors confirmed Hudson admitted to his involvement in the attack. He pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated sexual assault.
