Menominee County defends role in execution of search warrant

The Menominee County Board of Supervisors has released a statement spelling out the county’s role in the execution of a federal search warrant on tribal land.

The federal government claims marijuana was seized during the execution of the search warrant on Oct. 22. However, the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin claims it was a legal hemp crop.
