NFL's 'color rush' experiment ripped by fans: 'Looks like a bowl of Christmas M&M's'

Christmas came early for the NFL on Thursday — where the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills were concerned at least.

The league kicked off its new “color rush” experiment for the “Thursday Night Football” game on the NFL Network, but the sickly bright green and red ensembles were quickly ripped into by fans.

The NFL says the new uniforms designed by Nike are meant to combine a current and historic uniform color as a way to “honor each franchise,” however the social media response revealed that they looked more like ugly Christmas sweaters.
