Evolving to e-Court: Beltrami County joins statewide e-CourtMN initiative

BEMIDJI—Courts in the Minnesota began the next phase in digitizing records this past week with a voluntary launch into e-Court. And just four days in, Beltrami County has already successfully e-Filed its first motion.

The general public may not notice a change but, e-CourtMN, will streamline the behind-the-scenes process by making court documents more accessible to court officials, attorneys and law enforcement. The Minnesota Judicial Branch says all 87 district courts are mandated to start using the new system by July 1.
