Suspect pleads not guilty in Ronan day care worker attack; March trial set

POLSON – A 31-year-old man has pleaded not guilty to charges that he and his girlfriend viciously beat a Ronan day care owner who refused to allow him to take his biological children home because he didn’t have legal custody of them and appeared to be intoxicated.

Francis Jackson entered the plea in Lake County District Court on Wednesday. His girlfriend, 21-year-old Tashiana Schlensker, pleaded not guilty last week. Both are being held in the Lake County jail on $100,000 bail.
