AREA VOLLEYBALL: Cass Lake-Bena knocks out Blackduck

CASS LAKE — After dropping the first set at home Tuesday against the No. 5 team in the Section 8A East Sub-Section, Blackduck, Cass Lake-Bena took the next three sets to win 18-25, 25-13, 25-18, 25-18.

Cass Lake-Bena dropped set one, 25-18, but dominated in set two 25-13 before giving the Drakes a double dose of their own medicine with back-to-back 25-18 wins to close out the match.

The Panthers will play the top-seeded team in the East, Fosston at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Bemidji State Gymnasium.
