Cherokee Nation woman faces murder charges for deaths of four

An Oklahoma woman who is said to be a member of the Cherokee Nation is undergoing a mental evaluation after authorities said she drove her car into a crowd on Saturday, killing four people.

Adacia Avery Chambers, 25, is being held on $1 million bond in connection with the incident at the Oklahoma State University homecoming parade in Stillwater. She has not yet been formally indicted but faces second-degree murder charges for the deaths of Marvin Stone, 65, Bonnie Stone, 65, Nakita Prabhakar, 23, and two-year old Nash Lucas. Dozens more were injured.
