Northwest Technical College hosting Nov. 3 open house

Oct. 27, 2015 — A Nov. 3 open house at Northwest Technical College in Bemidji will feature faculty able to answer questions about every academic program the college offers.

Unlike previous open houses held at the college, which focused on registration and financial aid, the upcoming event will let individuals talk to faculty from multiple academic programs that might interest them.

“This will be an unprecedented opportunity for prospective students to do some one-stop shopping among our many outstanding programs,” said Robert Griggs, dean of NTC. “No one can speak more authoritatively than the people who teach these courses and help guide our graduates into successful careers.”

From 4 to 6 p.m. in NTC’s dining area, faculty will be available to discuss programs in NTC’s six career paths: health care, business, automotive motorsports, young child education, building trades, and manufacturing and engineering technology.

Visitors can also tour the campus and meet with student advisers to learn about steps to admission and financial aid. Light refreshments will be served.
