College debt still climbing for graduates, says Project on Student Debt

College debt is still rising, according to a report released Tuesday by the Project on Student Debt.

Seven in 10 seniors (69%) who graduated from public and nonprofit colleges in 2014 had student loan debt, with an average of $28,950 per borrower, according to the latest survey by the nonprofit Institute for College Access and Success.
