Littlewolf completes basic training

Pfc. Amayah Littlewolf of Bemidji recently completed basic training in the United States Army 1st Battalion, 48th Infantry Regiment at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. on Aug. 20.

Littlewolf received several awards for outstanding achievement on the Army physical fitness test for maintaining a high level of individual fitness and combat readiness at 90 percent.

She also qualified as an M-4 sharpshooter taking first place in the female division and earned the honor of being the leader and carrying the flag of her platoon, Ghost Dawgs.
