Former paraprofessional at Cass Lake-Bena faces charges for alleged sex with student
CASS LAKE -- A former Cass Lake-Bena High School faculty member faces criminal sexual conduct charges in Cass County District Court on allegations of having sex with a student at the school.
Cara Lynn Donnell, 29, of Cass Lake is accused of having sex with a male high school student inside the school while she was a paraprofessional at Cass Lake-Bena High School in 2014. The student was 15 at the time of the alleged incidents, according to court documents.
Cass Lake Bena Schools Superintendent Rochelle Johnson said she could not comment on Donnell’s employment status with the school district. However, a staff member who answered Donnell’s previous work phone at the school said Donnell does not currently work at the school.
