Shoni and Jude Schimmel to Possibly Play Overseas in Israel on Different Club Teams

LOUISVILLE – For the first time since 2010, a Schimmel won’t be on the roster for the Louisville Cardinals women’s basketball team’s upcoming season. Shoni has been in the WNBA for a few years now and younger sister Jude finished out her playing career this past May (she went un-drafted in the WNBA).

In the Louisville Tip-Off luncheon this week, head coach Jeff Walz mentioned that it was possible that Jude would head to Israel with her sister Shoni this year but they would suit up for different clubs teams.
