Ojibwe fur trade history explored in reprinted book

BEMIDJI—After a successful first run, the Beltrami County Historical Society has issued a second printing of "Ojibwe Imprints on Northern Minnesota," a book exploring life in 19th Century Beltrami County.

Released last fall, the book has gained word of mouth recognition, warranting a second publication which was printed in January. Beltrami County Historical Society Executive Director Dan Karalus said the book is in keeping with the society's focus.
