Former Choctaw Nation's EDH Director Pleads Guilty To $585,000 Tribal Embezzlement

MUSKOGEE, OKLAHOMA – The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, announced that Carma Lynn Elliot, age 45, of Durant, Oklahoma, entered a guilty plea to an Information charging her with “Embezzlement from Indian Tribal Organizations, in violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 1163.

Elliot was the director of the Choctaw Nation’s EDH (Eyeglasses, Dentures and Hearing aids) department.
