PREP FOOTBALL: Kelliher-Northome, Clearbrook-Gonvick, Bagley all open at home

The Kelliher-Northome football team dominated in the regular season to escape unbeaten.

And once again, the Mustangs are one of the top seeds in their MSHSL 9-man section tournament playoffs, which begin Friday.

Just about the only thing different for the Mustangs this season is their location. Kelliher-Northome (8-0) has moved from Section 7 to Section 8 this season, where they will look to make a return trip to the 9-man state tournament for the second straight season.
