Michael Evan Bohn, 'Indian', age 26 of Wilton began his spiritual journey on Friday, October 9th, 2015 from Fargo, North Dakota. Mike was born on October 28th, 1988 in Crookston the son of Daryl Bohn and Candy Strand.

Mike was raised in Grand Forks, North Dakota until 1997 when his family moved to Bemidji. He attended Bemidji schools where he received his General Education Diploma. Mike worked at Pacquin Farms in Mentor and at the Red Lake Casino in Red Lake. He was a very caring and thoughtful person who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Mike would spend endless hours with his Dad, uncles, siblings and nephews talking, laughing and playing games. He was a loyal friend, the type of person who would be there through the good times and bad. He enjoyed listening to music and writing his own lyrics. Mike liked to play basketball. He would play football with his Dad and siblings. He was a huge video game junkie, a long time Vikings fan and a very gifted artist. Mike will be very missed by all who knew and loved him.

The family that Mike joins again are his Mother Candy Strand, grandmothers; Mary Bohn and Agnes Benedix, grandfather; Ronald Strand, uncle; Randy Bohn, Sr. and cousin; Bobbi Jo Bohn.

Those left behind to remember him are his father and step mother; Daryl and Amber Bohn of Wilton, son; Breydin Jourdain-Bohn of Park Rapids, siblings; Aaron (Kasey Basswood) Bohn of Red Lake, Brittney (Brennan Dudley) Strand of Wilton, Devin and Darrion Bohn both of Wilton, uncles; Donald, Brian and Dale Bohn, aunts; Carol Strand-Johnson, Tina Goulet, Jolene White, Amy Big George, Melanie, Ann and Stephanie Buckshot, nephews; Cordelle Bohn, Kane and Duane Dudley, niece; Aalyla Bohn, significant other and mother of his child; Alicia Jourdain, many cousins and friends.

An overnight wake for Mike will begin at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 14th and continue until his traditional funeral service at 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 16th all being held at The Boys and Girls Club in Ponemah. Steve Jackson will be his spiritual leader. Helping to lay Michael to rest are Dale Bohn, Brian Bohn, Bezhiganakwad Hardy, Toca Nelson, Timi White, Clint Amberson, Alvin Amberson, Jr. and Randy Bohn, Jr. Mike's honorary pallbearers are Karen Saunders, Sherry Christenson, Barb Saunders, Debbie Saunders, Kaylee Johnson, Darrin Ray, Virgil Benais, Darren Benais, Rick Thayer, Robert 'Chops' Handorgan, Gladys Debungie, Margaret Yerxa and Rose Tuesday. Interment will be in the Maquambay Family Burial Grounds at Ponemah following his Friday service.
